AMÉLIE ET DIMITRI
Amélie Bonnin and Dimitri Lucas are a French writer-director duo who share the same commitment to storytelling and direction. Their first short film, Partir un jour (Arte, 2021), was selected in more than 100 international festivals and won the César for Best Fiction Short Film in 2023. In 2025 Amélie directed the feature adaptation of Partir un jour, which opened the Cannes Film Festival, a first for a French director’s debut feature. Dimitri directed the short film Wesh Rimbaud, awarded on the festival circuit, and is developing his first feature. Together they make films where intimacy meets a distinctive, sensitive form of direction.
